Distance reiki healing

Gentle energetic support for your body, mind, and nervous system—offered remotely so you can receive from the comfort of your own space.

Distance Reiki is a way of receiving Reiki healing without being physically in the same room.

And yes, it works.

These sessions are designed to support relaxation, energetic balance, emotional processing, and nervous system regulation from wherever you are.

Imagine feeling better without having to go anywhere.

Just laying down on your comfy bed, and after a while, coming out of a meditation, breath and energy work—feeling renewed again.

What is distance reiki?

Distance Reiki is a remote energy healing session where Reiki is offered without physical touch or in-person contact.

Reiki is a gentle healing modality that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. People often seek Reiki when they are feeling stressed, emotionally heavy, energetically drained, overwhelmed, or just off.

In a distance session, the intention and energy of the work are offered remotely, allowing you to receive the session from home or wherever you feel most comfortable.

Ever heard of quantum physics? We remain connected even at a distance.

I’ve received more remote support because of the pandemic than I ever have in person. And it’s all been life-changing.

how distance reiki works

During your session, I connect in intentionally and offer Reiki to support your system in the same way I would in person, just from a distance.

You’ll be in your own space, ideally somewhere quiet and comfortable where you can relax and lie down without interruption. I invite you to have a blanket or socks to stay warm, and set the scene with a candle or some incense.

There’s no perfect setup. The goal is simply to create a little space for yourself to receive that helps you to fully drop in and relax.

After the session, I can share anything that came through if that’s part of your offering, or we can keep it simple and let the session speak for itself.

What distance reiki can support

Distance Reiki can be a beautiful option when you’re wanting support but don’t need or want hands-on work.

People often book these sessions when they are experiencing:

  • stress or overwhelm

  • emotional heaviness

  • anxiety or nervous system dysregulation

  • exhaustion or energetic depletion

  • difficulty slowing down or relaxing

  • feeling disconnected from themselves

  • transitions, grief, or emotionally intense seasons

  • a desire for gentle support and reset

This work is subtle, but that does not mean it is insignificant.

Sometimes the body needs less force, not more.

what a distance reiki session feels like

Every person experiences Reiki differently.

Some people feel warmth, tingling, waves of relaxation, or an emotional softening.

Some notice imagery, insight, or a sense of peace.

Others simply feel more grounded, clear, or calm afterward without having a huge experience during the session itself.

Distance Reiki is often very gentle.

It can feel like your system finally getting a moment to unclench.

A lot of people notice that because they’re in their own space, it’s actually easier to relax and receive.

There is no right way to experience it.

Whether the session feels subtle or strong, Reiki works with your system in the way your body and energy are ready for.

why people choose distance reiki

Distance Reiki is a great fit if you:

  • live outside Missoula

  • want support from home

  • have a busy schedule and want something more accessible

  • prefer quiet, non-invasive healing

  • feel more comfortable receiving in your own environment

  • want energetic support without needing an in-person appointment

For many people, receiving from home helps them stay more relaxed before, during, and after the session.

my background with Reiki

Reiki master Tora Savage waving sage

When I first heard about Reiki, I was in a bit of disbelief.

“What do you mean you can help people heal from a distance?”

So I initially strayed away from learning it, until I received it for myself.

I had received some reiki in person, but the first time I received it from a distance was from my teacher herself, who trained me online.

It was like she was in the room with me.

I experienced an incredible release and while I thought perhaps I would only perform reiki in person, I was hooked on providing it from wherever I might be.

When your mind and body simultaneously feel that peace, stillness, and trust—it creates a kind of healing I never knew we could all hold in the palms of our hands.

So now I’m bringing it to you.

“I have access to the best parts of myself without needing someone else to help me meet her.”

frequently asked questions

  • Not necessarily. Distance Reiki can be received remotely without us being on a call together. You’ll simply set aside the session time to relax and receive in your own space.

Some prefer to connect virtually for the session, which we would do over Zoom.

It has simply depended on the client and their preference. It’s automatically set for us to meet over Zoom, so if you decide you would rather be off camera, you can let me know ahead of time and I’m happy to adjust.

  • You have options:

You could wear something comfortable, get cozy, and allow yourself to rest and meditate.

I have also have had clients schedule a Distance Reiki session at the same time as an acupuncture or massage session, where they’ll already be in a state of rest with another practitioner. Think of it as two people supporting you at once.

There have also been times clients have scheduled it during a stressful meeting or test where they know they’ll need extra support.

    It simply depends on preference.

  • No. You do not need to fully understand Reiki or have a particular belief system to receive a session.

Most people simply come with openness and curiosity.

  • After a session, people often report feeling calmer, lighter, more grounded, emotionally softer, or more clear.

Sometimes the effects are immediate. Sometimes they unfold more over the next day or two.

Pay attention to any dreams and allow yourself to journal as you might need extra processing time for the next couple of days afterwards.

  • Many people find distance Reiki deeply supportive and powerful. I sure have (it’s primarily how I have received mine).

While the experience may feel a little different from in-person work, it can still be a meaningful and effective form of support.

I have found it truly matters on your personality and your personal preference.
