REiki Healing in Missoula
Energy work for nervous system regulation, stress relief, and deep rest.
This is for you if:
You’ve ever felt like your body is holding something it can’t quite put into words… this work is for that.
Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that helps your nervous system self-organize so your body can release what it’s been holding onto—stress, emotions, tension, or simply exhaustion from carrying too much for too long.
Some people come in feeling anxious, some feel completely numb or shut down, some just know something in their body feels “off.”
Reiki creates space for your system to reset, regulate, and reconnect with itself.
Think deeper relaxation, deeper self-connection, and a renewed sense of inner peace.
What reiki actually feels like
During a session you’ll lie comfortably on the massage table while I place my hands lightly on or just above different areas of your body.
Most people experience:
deep relaxation
warmth or tingling sensations
drifting into a meditative or dream-like state
a feeling of heaviness leaving the body
Some people even fall asleep. ;)
With Reiki, your body decides what it needs.
It works by calming the nervous system, which allows your body to shift out of survival mode and into a state where healing and regulation can happen naturally.
why people work with me for reiki:
A lot of Reiki practitioners focus only on the energetic side of healing.
But the body doesn’t separate energy from emotion, trauma, or physical tension.
My background includes:
Licensed Massage Therapy
Reiki Master training
Emotional Release work
Somatic coaching and nervous system education
So when we work together, I’m not just channeling energy—I’m tracking what your body is communicating.
That means sessions often support things like:
chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation
emotional processing and release
burnout and exhaustion
feeling disconnected from your body
big life transitions or grief
physical tension connected to emotional holding
Sometimes people come in because they’re curious.
Other times they’re at a point where they’ve tried everything else and their body is still asking for something deeper.
add reiki to your massage
Many clients choose to add Reiki to their massage session.
Massage works with the physical tension, while Reiki works with the energetic and emotional layers underneath it.
Combining the two can deepen relaxation and help the body integrate changes more fully.
my story with Reiki
I first came to Reiki through my own healing journey.
I was midway through a massage shift when I got this sharp pain in my hand. It had been coming and going and I was worried for the longevity of my career. I was experiencing burnout and high emotional stress at the time and massage alone wasn’t cutting it.
A friend of mine who was certified in Reiki was working with me that day, and asked if she could work on my hand.
I had never previously received Reiki but was trained in other modalities of energy work and was open for anything that might help.
In under a minute the pain released and I was immediately sold on the work.
Since then I’ve utilized it for migraines, stress in relationships, anxiety, and more.
Energy work helped me access those deeper layers—the places where emotions, memories, and physical tension were all intertwined.
It helped me reconnect with my body in a way that felt safe and empowering.
Now I use Reiki as one of several tools to support people in rebuilding that relationship with themselves.
Because when your body finally feels safe enough to let go, a lot can shift.
You don’t feel like just another client, you feel like you’re being taken care of, heard, and supported.

No, and in fact for many years I didn’t either. The way a lot of people presented it to me over the years made it sound too “out there” for even me. Being curious or open-minded is all you need. Reiki works by helping the nervous system relax, which your body can respond to whether you have a spiritual framework around it or not.
-
Most people feel deeply relaxed, lighter, or emotionally clearer. Occasionally people feel tired afterward as the body processes and integrates the shift. This processing sometimes includes dreaming for the next night or two or a desire for journaling as things click into place.
-
Comfortable clothing is best. You’ll remain fully clothed during a Reiki session. If adding to a massage session, you’ll only disrobe to your comfort level.
I also recommend removing bulky jewelry and watches.
-
Most people experience Reiki as deeply relaxing.
You’ll lie comfortably on a massage table while I place my hands lightly on or just above different areas of your body. Many clients notice sensations like warmth, tingling, or waves of relaxation moving through the body.
Others simply feel their mind slow down and their body soften in a way that’s hard to access in everyday life. Some people even fall asleep during the session.
Every experience is a little different, but most people leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected to themselves.
-
Sometimes, yes.
Because Reiki helps the nervous system relax, emotions that have been sitting under the surface may come up during or after a session. This is simply your body releasing what it’s been holding.
Nothing is forced, and everything moves at your body’s pace.
-
Massage works primarily with the physical body, helping release muscle tension and improve circulation.
Reiki works more with the nervous system and energetic layers of the body, helping create a deep sense of calm and supporting emotional and energetic release.
Some people prefer Reiki on its own, while others choose to combine Reiki with massage for a more layered approach to relaxation and healing.
-
This simply depends on your goals.
Some people come in occasionally when they feel overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally drained. Others choose to receive Reiki more regularly as part of supporting their nervous system and overall wellbeing. (I personally receive mine every two weeks.)
We can always talk about what feels supportive for your body and schedule.
-
Many people seek out Reiki specifically for stress and burnout.
When the nervous system has been in a constant state of pressure or overwhelm, it can be difficult for the body to truly relax.
Reiki helps create a calm environment for the body to shift out of that stress response, which can support deeper rest, emotional processing, and a sense of balance.

You don’t have to push or force healing.
If your body has been asking for rest, space, or something deeper than surface-level relief, Reiki can help you reconnect with what it really needs.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply allow ourselves to slow down and listen.
